^Touche[emoji6] At least its not a repeat of last year's Finals. Siakam was balling. GSW will make adjustments and may win 4 in a row. Im hoping TOR wins game 2 and really makes things interesting.
You already said that but it didn't happen In all seriousness, the Warriors may have come in unexpecting the Raptors to be ready for them, mixed in with a LONG break between their last series and the Finals. I would be truly shocked if the Raptors win game 2, OR if they do win game 2 it will be a very tight finish.
I am not sure why everyone thought and still thinks that the Warriors would have a “cake walk” and sweep through these finals. Basketball results are often dictated strongly by individual matchups. In previous head to head games, Toronto swept Golden State this year. The first game in Oakland, the Raptors destroyed the full Warriors squad by 20 points, despite not even having their best player, Kahwai Leonard. In the second game, the Raptors pulled out a close one in Canada, despite Durant having an epic 50 point game with miraculous shots in regulation and overtime. This was never going to be a sweep, even with a full GSW squad...
All of Toronto...and much more...all of Ontario, and all of Canada. The Leafs suck, so we only have the Raptors now
Whoa, hold your horses, don't say "everyone", because I certainly didn't think it would be sweep or cakewalk.
I should mention there are as many fans in the Jurassic Park (watching outside on the big screens) as there are inside the arena.
The truth is Toronto is on fire right now. The city is alive, pumping, cheering, almost everyone has a swing in the step. But it stems further all across Canada. My friends across the country are posting pictures and video's of Raptors games. Just last week I watched the game in Calgary when Raptors clinched the birth in the final. The bar was FULL of Raptors jerseys watching the game. It is all simply insane as this is the only Basketball team in Canada. Didn't realize that this was the first time a Canadian team has entered the finals. Support / bets are coming in for Raptors as well all over United States. https://www.narcity.com/sports/ca/on/toronto/majority-of-americans-are-supporting-the-raptors-in-nba-finals-shows-new-map
That is also just the one party. Many "Jurassic Park's" have opened up in major out side cities and provinces. It is insane. Theatres are showing the game. Major cities have parks/city centres blocked off for viewings.
Nope. Courtside antics in a major sport is nothing new, you know that! If he is making the other team "sick of him" than he is doing his job.
I'm happy to hear the logical side here! Yesterdays win shocked me for a variety of reason. The "depth" I mentioned in my post that we lacked showed up. We had the whole team pitching in and "Big P" ran away with it. It truly was the whole team putting points up now just KL. This also went into the defensive end. For a team that can really drop bombs they did a good job clearing up rebounds and keeping a very strong offense out of the hoop. Both of those shocked me. The constant gap we held onto was quite surprising. At the end of the day the Raptors are on a high. They just finished wrapping up Milwaukee in Toronto. The crowd is buzzing. The city and country is on fire supporting them. They are writing history in Canadian basketball. Now they come home for the first Finals game on Canadian soil. GS coming in from a long break. The question I have is did we really have the "perfect" game in a variety of aspects. The Raptors won game 1 no doubt in my mind compared to Golden State losing it. The next game will not be as easy for us I would think. You know I will be ready to party either way. Go Raps Go!
Well I noticed he spilled his drink all over the floor and tried to wipe it up himself prior to some girl with a towel trying. This was going on for minutes before Klay Thompson got called for his technical (still cleaning up his mess while that happened). Seems I was not the only one that noticed...it actually made me stop watching the plays and seeing wtf he was doing lol https://www.wsj.com/articles/if-youre-reading-this-its-about-drake-11559309431
If it's Toronto's home court, I would actually like to see more antics from Drake and getting into players' heads. He kinda toned down after Adam Silver had a chat with him. I believe Green went up to him. Probably to pump himself up for the next game. Raptors are certainly on a roll and I am sure entire Canada, which is pretty crazy. 98% Americans seem to want to see Toronto win. I guess that's what GSW deserves for cheating by bringing in KD AND later Cousins. I like the match-up right now. Makes for good entertainment.
Are you drunk? I said there were more fans in the Jurassic Park (without and S at the end of Park means it's singular) outside the arena, not ALL Jurassic Parks (see the difference Park vs Parks)
