Sheridan Rd in Winnetka/Glencoe/H.Park area seems to be a great spotting place. A few days ago my jaw dropped when I saw a Red Stratos coming from opposite direction and was frustrated I could not whip my camera out fast enough. Today, similar situation, except it was a gorgeous 1978-1981 White M1, a car that is a treat to see at all, much less casually driven on the road.
While I have to agree that the I10 between LA and Phoenix is pretty boring, a friend of mine and I just may hold the record from Orange County (south of LA) to midtown Phoenix (including a stop for gas and food) of 3 hours and 20 minutes in an F40. There was no dozing off during that drive.

Not lunch (joke) I saw two AMGs in front of a restaurant on Damien with Goldrush Rally livery around 1. One also had CMC livery. Had no idea it was a thing. Just thought it was a couple of car guys hanging out.
