Took my mom flying in the T-28 this morning. Total bucket-list item...mission was a total success! Puffy clouds everywhere for us to soar around and she even did an aileron roll on her own. Was nice to take her on a flight. I’d be nothing but for her hard work and dedication to the American way!!!

This is a shot taken from 11,000 ft while orbiting near Cape Girardeau during the eclipse in 2017. The foreground is still in sunshine as the total eclipse moves in. In the background is a false sunset produced by the edge of the eclipse.

In a tenuous attempt to link flying and cars, one of the Millbrook Proving Ground in the UK taken during my first flight in a Chipmunk a few years back. A truck on the bowl appeared to be gunning for its top speed!

This is awesome and absolutely amazing and I don't mean to take anything away from it - but reading that aircraft livery and all I can think about is the Peppa Pig episode of "The Flying Vet". Yes, I have a 4yo daughter, and no, I don't regularly watch Peppa Pig on my own, lol.

Nice view of the city and the bay. The clouds give it a bit of a "moody" feeling.

You're only seeing about 1/5 (or less) of SF in that pic... it extends a long way South.
Looking a little N of E in that pic.
