I was thinking a 1/2 vinyl roof would be pretty spiffy!

"The C8 is UNTUNABLE....and this time, we MEAN it...."

Every Corvette for last 15 years was "untunable", the tuners will have it cracked in 6 months.
This "untunable" thing is like the mid-engine rumors. It gives magazines something to write about and something for the faithful to get all pissed off about.

How is a SBC chevy untuneable. How will a TT motor be untuable, theyre easy to tune, just turn up the boost wick.

maybe they mean the new chevy multi computer modules that controll everything is reall hard to hack, and that any hack will alter so many other integrated systems from traction to abs to steering etc that its not tuneable. Today the entire powerplant from Motor to abs to taction to esp to steerign etc is really considered one intergrated unit, and altering one without negatively afftecting the opertions of the other components is really hard. But for sure its doable, just may take time.
Untuneable is like saying the F35 has sealed coding which is true, but I think you can add function by foiling the computers into different readings, thats an old trick.
For example a computer may think turbos are boosting within spec while in reality the reading to the computer can be manipulated to cause the computer to add more real boost while thinking boost is still limited to manufactuerer spec.

Of course there may be little need if were going to have a 5000hp SBC a 650hp TT car and a 1000hp hybrid.

One must also question why Gm or would want to make an untuneable car, tuner culture and ability to tune is a big part of any cars appeal for many. Ability to customise/personalise/differentiate mass produced car is part of its appeal.

On anothe rnote when I see the new ferrai F90, between its weight and styling, how bad can the me car be in comparsion. Maybe it really will be better than the latest ferrari.

I can’t wait to see this car, can’t wait for the Z06/Grand Sport/Zora versions in the future!
I think this will be a game changer as Euroretards go hybrid/electric/Gas Particle Filter the American ‘vette sportscar will be pouring out colossal HP with great sound...and repairs won’t crush you..you can wrack up miles upon miles of USA road trip miles without wringing your hands about depreciation.
    Looking forward to it!

I don't believe this at all. It basically cuts the car into two halves.
