Beast , great athlete but dummy on the court and stat padding kills him- he is playing for him and not for the wins, @ lease that’s how his game has translated so far!

Looney has cartilage fracture out for rest of Finals. GSW definitely has the injury bug but they have so much depth it's "next man up" no worries. Watch Boogie continue to ball in Game 3 as he gets more minutes with Looney out.

Instead of "Where's Waldo" it should be "Where's Lowry?" He's the Raptors' invisible man. Should be stepping up after finally making the Finals after all those All-Star seasons and being the team leader with Demar.

people really getting on lowry but i think hes doing ok.
taking all those charges has to take a toll on his body even with his extra 'padding'.

Lowry regained all the weight he had lost 4 years ago; plus he is 32/33 and never was the most athletic; same van vleet is young but not the most nba ready body. Toronto, to me, is as good as they will ever be. I think Kawhi is going to the clippers and if he stayed they would need a 2nd star to win which they are not getting. Imo at least.

Losing Kevon Looney is a notable loss...He is their most athletic center (not including Draymond) where he is long and fast enough to defend smaller players on the perimeter and hold his own down low. Cousins and Bogut have significant limitations with defending the perimeter, though both can provide very good big body interior presence. Cousins offense is what the Warriors need at this time, as The loss of KD has made the warriors a lot less potent. Klay’s injury is also concerning as he has been a primary defender on Kahwai Leonard. It was no accident that Leonard blew up the stat sheet in the 4th quarter when Klay was out.

I consider Lowry an elite point guard and he certainly has the career stats to back that up but he's not at the same level of Curry, Dame, Westbrook.

Curry, Dame, CP3, Westbrook, Kemba able to turn it on in the 4th and go that extra mile. Lowry often seems passive when the going gets tough, whether it's intentional to defer to Kawhi. He's a good ball handler and can set up the offense but doesn't seem eager to take over scoring or defense (fouls often in the 4th).

Best way to tell if someone is elite or not is to look at their playoff stats (where it matters), not regular season stats.

Kawhi has been my favorite NBA player for the past 5 years. I watch him play quite often. He is definitely playing injured and pacing himself as best as he can. He just got through Embid, Simmons, and Butler in a tight series and then up against the league MVP. He's trying to carry the team on the offensive and defensive end and his second best player is Lowry, who has pretty much sucked for the most part. I would love to see Kawhi exert himself more and even more so in the fourth quarter, but if you simply glance at his game 2 stats, the man still put up 34 pts and 14 rebs. His teammates just simply need to do their parts and hit their shots. They just aren't doing it consistently enough. Kawhi isn't going to win this Championship for them. They to, have to earn it.

I have $1000 on the line with GSW, but I still want to see Kawhi do well. His teammates not coming through is no surprise to me.

GSW. At home, even half speed, they're going to be a handful for Toronto tonight.

The fact that Golden State was able to beat Houston and Toronto in game 2 shows their championship poise and greatness.
This reminds me of the bulls when no matter what they would prevail. I don’t put them
    On the same
    Level but close.
That’s why to me Lebron James isn’t the greatest : u going to tell me that it’s okay to
Get swept by the warriors, lose to Dallas and call urself
The goat whilst ALlen Iverson managed by himself to steal game 1 against the all mighty, undefeated at the time, lakers in 2001?

that stifling defense by gsw at end of 1st half was insane! best tor could do was chuck up contested 3's. not even kwai could get off a decent shot. i remember bulls doing it w pippen/mj and miami w leb/dw but this wasnt even gsw starters!

Gsw will win game 4,5,6 . This game is over. Too many guys missing, not enough talent to make up for it.

Green dropping big balls. Raps playing a good game. Curry being amazing but not much support. GS defense is looking like it will cost them this game.

Well rounded game by us. Hope it ends in our favour.
