Awesome game from my seat. Go Raps Go!
Most well-rounded game on offense and defense by Raptors all playoffs. Now Steph doesn’t have enough help. Needs Klay at the minimum. When does KD insert himself in?? Gettin’ real interesting now.
That was a welll earned win by the Raptors, As Steph gave it his best shot, but just not enough help. Toronto pretty much had the game under control the whole way, as they had so many easy baskets in the first half as SuperSteph kept them hovering around at around a 10 pt deficit for most of the game. In the 2nd half, clutch shot after clutch shot answered the ongoing pushes that GS mustered. If the Warriors get Klay and KD back at some competence, by game 4, this will have a chance to be a great 7 game series. If No Klay or KD in games 4 and 5, this will be over in 5 games. If either Klay or KD back by game 4 and 5, It will probably go 6 games. Today, Curry was forced to be more aggressive due to the lack of another scorer that can create his own shot. Against these Raptors, it is a very difficult task.
I'd be surprised to see Durant back these playoffs. And if Klay does indeed have a strained halmstring then he's not coming back. This is the Raptors best chance to take advantage of the situation and take game 4. If that happens I can't see GS coming back from 3-1, UNLESS both Durant and Klay are almost 100% healthy - which is too many hypotheticals for GS to win.
They will be there Friday. Relax it’s a soap opera. That Toronto team should have won’t by 30 tonight, with just klay gsw would have won. Warriors in 6 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
We have a series! Great team effort by TOR. Lowry finally stepped up, Green was bombing 3's, big men Siakam and Gasol contributed and Iblacka turned back the clock with vintage D. Curry single handedly kept GSW alive but without any help it was too much to ask for. I can see this going 7 games. KD will be rusty and Klay might not be full strength.
Fake news lol In all honesty it’s too dangerous and too much of a risk for klay not to play so I say klay plays and I think kd does too Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I didn't dispute that GS "should" win with their big guns. But without Klay and Durant the Raptors should be able to win.
Klay just got confirmed for Friday -now will he be 50% or 75%? Who knows Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
With 50% capacity Klay and KD...this will be tough for the Warriors to pull this out...you can really see the effect of losing Klay Thompson in terms of defense on Kawhi Leonard and the perimeter defending of the 3 point shot. Kawhi has been an offensive force that the Warriors have been unable to stop since the 4th quarter of game 2. KD has not had any on court action for a month until today...Good luck on being 50%...The Warriors really have to make the unguarded and uncontested shots (many of them 3 pointers) by starters Iguadala and Green...or we will have a reoccurrence of the 2016 Finals with anemic shooting from Harrison Barnes that doomed the Warriors just enough for them to lose a championship...
uh oh, kd ruled out of game 4! this is now getting really interesting. still sticking with my prediction gsw in the end but it just got difficult.
KD out for game 4...Klay limited but playing...Game 4 is a MUST WIN for the Warriors, or they will lose this in 5 games.
I keep hearing the pundits on radio/TV criticize Klay and KD for not playing in these must win NBA finals games. The pundits seem to question the desire, especially of KD in wanting to come back. The media (who are not Physicians) continue to criticize the players because they have not come back from a “grade 1” strain/sprain injury. I can assure you, as a sportsmed physician, the ability to come back to play is not under the player’s control or desire. Any good sportsmed physician will run through the usual protocol and will only allow certain activities when the player is completely pain free. This has to assessed scrupulously. That is exactly what the Warriors sportsmed staff likely followed in declaring KD not ready after today’s 1st practice in a month. Believe me, Klay wanted to play yesterday, and he would have put himself in harms way if given his choice. However, it was not his call...
Wow didn't think the guy that did it was this high up in the organization. Big penalties. Tweet— Twitter API (@user) date
