If I remember correctly, there were rumors of KL and the Spurs Management/Medical staff not in accord with KL’s ability to play. Again the diagnosis is rather vague to all of us, as only the Raptor medical staff is privy to the real info. Stevens repeatedly said F off. Accepts full responsibility and punishment. No appeal. What he did was out of line and classless.
If he was a regular fan, they would've banned him for life. They're banning him for one year with a hefty fine. He surely stated he had no problem with the punishment.
I saw nothing racist about it. I did see a low class move with this strong arm 2 seats away from a fallen player. Totally unwarranted. Say any of us slip and fall down and somebody a few feet away shoves you as you are trying to get up for no reason; all the while saying f off? Wrong on every level. Now I understand if you fall on somebody and they are shoving you off, that's one thing. But to shove somebody not involved in any way with you?
I didn’t see it as racial, but other players in the league made comments along those lines. Lowery crashed on the woman sitting immediately next to Stevens so he seemed to be somewhat involved by being with her. No recording of that was said, but it seems odd he got pissed and shoved Lowery with no provocation outside the landing in the woman. Could be beer muscles or steadfastly pulling for GSW, but it seems more likely than not the player made comments too. Like I said, a recording would be nice to clear it up.

I really want GS to lose. I'm so tired of watching them shoot FTs, taking 3s, and arguing with refs all the time. That's not even going into the whole thing of all stars leaving their team to play for GS.
