    No mate. The shifts are just a bit harsher because there isn’t as much damping because of the buggered mount/bush.

    Ok cheers Gizzi, My gear changes have always been sound but a little noisy from 3rd to 4th, it’s not the synchros,although a problem on a lot of gearbox’s these units are apparently very robust, we think it’s a noisy actuator and it hasn’t got any worse in 2 years and 20,000 klms, plus when reversing into parking spots the diff clicks;) I’ve read it’s not uncommon and not a major issue Pierre suggested the gearbox bush needs replacement hopefully that will rectify the unnerving sound [emoji51]
