(348) New owner checking in.

Hello, all,

For a bit more than a year, I've been the new owner of "The Most Famous 348 In the World." (see the novel-length history thread)

The car is fantastic, has been utterly reliable, and has needed nothing other than minor cosmetics.

I couldn't have become a Ferrari owner without Fchat and the expertise and generosity of members. MandaRacing, Plugzit, Ernie, FBB, Daniel@Ricambi, Meister, Pap348, and others have made it possible by sharing their knowledge (by phone, email, and through their posts) and welcoming me into the fold.

I've enjoyed doing a few maintenance tasks on the car, and the only appearance change to date has been substituting a chrome cavallino for the "gold kit" one that the original owner had installed.

I knew I wanted a 348 to drive, not to be a concours winner, and was glad that this one had been tracked and had been really well-maintained. And it looks great too!

Anyway, I'm really enjoying it! Glad to be here!

Hello everyone. I'm not a new 348 owner....yet, but am actively looking for a 94 or 95 Spider. So here's a massively opened ended question. Looking for pointers and proper market values. I'm trying to search the classifieds here, but either no one is selling a 348, or i haven't figured out how to navigate the site yet. LOL
I live in Ontario Canada

 

Look at cargurus, Autotrader and ebay. BringaTrailer and Hemmings will show you values. Read a lot like this forum and http://www.my348.com/.

Great car Walt, good to see somebody putting that car through its paces! What part of SC are you in? I'll probably be back down there again in the Charleston area next year. Is that Gold Cavallino for sale? LOL

 

I found a number of them using traditional search tools. There are a few I would not touch, but they are out there.

I’m a soon-to-be new 348 Spider owner. Signed a PSA last Friday and looking for a reliable and knowledgeable shop to do a PPI in the Atlanta area.

Any advice welcomed!

I went thru their front door (website) and Vance Wells replied to me that they do not handle PPIs.

Offered to sell me one of their 348’s.

If you have contact info for Wade - that would be awesome.
