Thanks. The Lambo blue palette is fantastic. Friend has a blue cepheus 580-2 it is pretty striking in direct sunlight.

The thread title would seem to indicate more off brand communications than normal, especially in the form of Performante. Maybe try one of the threads that are, more or less, exclusively devoted to the F8.

Question...will the Huracan Evo have a turbo and GPF someday?

Nope but most likely with the Huracan successor.

The Huracan replacement due in 2022 will be a hybrid per Lamborghini management.

Expect Ferrari, McLaren and Lamborghini to make the switch to hybridization by 2022-3 and all three will offer variations of a theme.

The question will be, what will be the basis for the hybridization. In case of Ferrari we seem to know: V6 hybrid instead of V8. I don't like that.
In case of Lamborghini (Huracán successor) the answer could be: V8 hybrid instead of V10. Better than V6, but I don't like that as well.

Performante Spyder is on my short list of cars to get next but I really don't want to get rid of my 458. I'm a huge fan of NA noise and response so ideally I'd pick one of those up along with 812. Then have some of the best 6,8,10, and 12 cylinders in my garage as keepers.

On the topic of the Performante, I was told by my dealer a few days ago they'll be no "Performante" version of the Evo but he said there is very strong possibility of a STS Evo street version, number limited with around 150-250 cars total. This will probably be the car to get and keep in the collection because it might be the last NA V10 Lamborghini produced and just imagine how insane a STS for the streets would be.

All speculation. My dealer has no knowledge about any STS version.

They will absolutely do a STS, adios to N/A version. They will print money and car companies are into that.

EVO is kind of a dog (I seriously think it looks like a base 580). Have a feeling unit count will be closer to 500.

And yes all speculation, but I wouldn't bet against it (just like some SE F8).

How much more hp can they squeeze out of the 5.2-V10?
And if it really will be RWS, it won‘t be comparable to the Performante.

Personally I hope they retain driver selectable AWD...lots of power for street esp windy damp roads.

Not much from what I read a while back which is probably why the NA V10 will end with the Huracan.

I've heard the RWS rumour as well. One rumour is a final edition RWS Aventador and the other is a track focused variant of the now out of production 580.

AWD is not fun to drive and get playful with. I hated my 610-4.

Give me a dancing RWS to toss around.

So the power increase over the Performante won't be much.

    I'm not sure if I would prefer a 670 hp-RWD-STS over a 640 hp-AWD-Performante.
