of course you are mate I hate this part of fchat, came here to find the results and see the usual dribble from the Hamilton fanbois who will NEVER own a Ferrari but get their little kicks out of sticking the knife into the tifosi, a sad indictment of this forum. The true stayers are those of us that sat through the 21 years waiting for Ferrari to get Schuey and a good car
Isn't Paul Ricard on the schedule because fans were screaming to keep (or bring back) the historic European tracks and this is exactly what Liberty did? Nostalgia is a great thing, especially when looking back with rose tinted glasses. Paul Ricard is a mighty and historic circuit and even though they've cut up the Mistral straight, it is still damn fast. Again, the historic European circuits were what fans asked for. What I didn't get were those horrendous trophies. Gorillas holding up a (whatever the **** it was), looked more like one of those tacky NASCAR trophies. There were also gorilla and bear figures seen in the paddock. May anyone in France explain this please? BHW
Many of us Hamilton fans own more than a few but we understand that we're watching the greatest driver in the history of the sport and appreciate that. Many of us look forward to the day he's in Scarlet Red bringing WDC's to the Scuderia and the only driver to win the WDC with 3 teams. We'll see in 2020.
You hate this part of fchat? Too bad for you. Ownership of a Ferrari is explicitly NOT a requirement to participate in this forum or in this F1 section, and being a tifosi is similarly NOT a requirement to participate here, however much you wish it was true. If you insist that your F1 forum participation must be tifosi only, then this actually isn't the place for you. I own a Ferrari, I wish the Ferrari team was doing better, but I can still appreciate that Hamilton is actually a brilliant driver doing a great job. I don't need to like his hair style or fashion activities to appreciate his driving skills. Owning a Ferrari, being a Ferrari fan, and appreciating good drivers in the other teams are not mutually exclusive as you and others here seem to insist.
Wow they found footage. Maybe it's fake since they didn't bother to show us during the race. The 1st penalty is retarded. The 2nd one while he did go out he returned before the pass and if Lewis is not suppose to slow down for any reason why is Ricci. Perez penalty is amusing and is really more egg on FIA faces. After last race retarded decision now they will have to be consistent in their incompetent decision making and things that used to be "racing incidents" are now penalties.
Hamilton is living proof that an average race car driver can become multi year Champion with the best support team , unlimited resources and the best race car . Period .
Well... In most of his years he's beaten his teammates pretty well so he must have something. I firmly believe if you put Hamilton in a Racing Point car and after a bit of setting it up he would go much quicker than Stroll in it. Or is that saying much?
My grandmother would impress all of us in Stroll's car......thats not saying much. My point is ...put Ricciardo or Kevin M or another run of the mill / average driver of today's line up in a Silver Arrow and I believe he would be leading the Championship as well No doubt in my mind
At least Lewis got this right : https://www.racefans.net/2019/06/23/hamilton-blame-f1-bosses-not-drivers-for-boring-races/
Hamilton has won every championship he's ever competed in either in his first or second year including F1 since he was 8. They would all be Bottas with Hamilton in the car next to them... coming up second.
Today's F1 race was the first I've skipped....ever. I watched full quali and prerace coverage, and the first 5 or so laps. That was enough to know what would hapoen....
