Finally stopped raining here in Austin long enough to take it for a drive and a few pics. I just got this car a couple weeks ago. It's from Tulsa and I believe used to belong to a previous Fchatter, but I don't think he's posted in the last 10 years or so. I've been slowly going though it and making a list of things that need addressing. Black wheels were on when I got it. Just added the Challenge wheels last week.
Looks perfect with the Challenge wheels, just right. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Recently took my 348 out of storage and drove it home in the rain and got it really dirty. Son came over and took it to his house and gave it a bath and detail the interior. Most reliable sports car I have ever had, 67 Jaguar XKE, 57 Corvette, 63 Split Window Corvette, 66 427/425 Corvette, numerous Austin Healey's, MG's and many more. Image Unavailable, Please Login

About 2 years was leaving the apartment car park stopped at the barrier waited for it to open, then it sounded like a bag of nails as soon as I pressed the accelerator pedal to pull out. Parked it up, pulled the plugs No8 tightened up as I turned and from experience I guessed a dropped valve which was the case Spent a bit of time sourcing parts at a decent price Head/Piston/Liner then puled the motor, its got 50K on it and is an ex challenge race car from japan so has ended up going for a rebuild, timing gear, bearings etc.
