    Hi Andrew, perhaps you could introduce yourself a bit more..... There are some guys here that may not know quite what a useful resource you are.......

    I'll put this in...

    Andrew is responsible for Allan Simonsen being here, as part of a deal on the Raftis F1 car. He helps Allan find drives all over the place.

    Andrew is the Turner, of Mortimer Houghton Turner (MHT), ex UK Ferrari dealers.

    Andrew has/is/does deal with any and all of the most prestigious infamous and historic Ferraris that travel the world.

    Why "Birel" ?

    isn't that a non-alcoholic beer? i remember step-dad gave it to me when i was 11 on a murray camping journey so i could feel like one of the men.

    i couldn't stand beer until i was 21 so non-alcoholic beer is about as appealing as nutmeat.

    When I was younger I raced karts for many years and was supported by Birel Importers so I just feel a loyalty for the help. I still drive a kart for fun and fitness, 125 Rotax, plenty quick !! And of course the karting connection was how I ended up helping Allan Simonsen and I'm very proud to say that the only World Championship where Allan, Raikkonen, Button and Davidson were together, we beat them. Allan went on to drive for the Scandinavian Birel Importer.......they went on to better things!

    Hello Asif,
    A delight to hear from you after quite some time out of contact. I like your 328GTS, I still have a 328GTB. You could say I bought it from myself, as you will remember the financial health in Hong Kong during 1989-90 was not so hot and it became a struggle to sell the full allocations. And they say the good old old days?
    Life in Australia is kind to me and I still manage to sell a good number of old collectible Ferrari on the international market.

    Yes 4422, best car I ever had, kept it for 34 years and wish circumstances hadn't forced me to sell. I also had Lusso 5441 25 years, nice to look at not so much fun to drive.
