You'd have bought one of Moretti's cars, which are always awful when he's finished with them, and would have been clueless as to how to fix it. You'd have ended up disappointed and with a crap car. On the upside, we'd have got a good laugh.
I'm REEEEEEEALY sorry, and I'm not having a crack at you Pat,but when you can buy a fully restored, sorted and fully equipped '70's FEV12OHOS for $475K in comparison to this 246 iconic (apparently) lacklustre performing little gadget for $850K,then to para you....the worlds gone mad! I don't see the 'iconic' bit being worth $375K
That $475K C4 is a rubbish restoration. The interior has so many details wrong, it would drive me nuts
Yep you've said that before re this car (boaties I think) I was just using it as an example compared to the 246 . I'm afraid the maths don't add up for mine, when you can get sooo many more exciting to drive Ferrari's and other brands for well less than all the 246's are being offered for. Mind you,as you're as much of a market watcher as a lot of us here, bugger all is being sold in Aussie going by the carsales adverts.
Yep A 246 will always be a $130k car to me, funnily enough, I’ve paid pretty much the same for every other Ferrari I’ve owned
The 246 is prettier than most front engine V12 cars. Performance is irrelevant and the sound they make with the window cracked open is sublime.
Yeah and that was a ****load for a Dino back in 2000. I remember my dad thought I was absolutely nuts for spending that much money on a then 26 year old car [emoji3]
There is no other road Ferrari as pretty as a Dino. They are great to drive and sound fabulous. Worth every cent of $849k I reckon.
A Dino is not a Ferrari ..... just ask Enzo, or better still get Wes to ask Enzo, and get his signature while he's at it
