I don’t see you wondering about my car purchases because I’ve had you on ignore for the longest time. :).

I hope you enjoy your vanquish. Looking forward to seeing the pics.

Yeah, the one due out in 2021-ish. If the Valkyrie and RB003 are already production, then there would seem to be no problem carrying over most of the concept of the Vanquish into the production version. Couldn't care less about the drive train since everything will be pointlessly high performance by then (as if it isn't already).

It's by far the best looking design in probably the last 20-30 years IMO. Nothing even comes close. McLaren just released 2 ugly cars in a row, SF90 is ugly, Lamborghini just adding intakes and canards all over the damn place. Just a bunch of garbage car design in recent years and no one has shown any indication of changing that except AM.

Agree on that. AM design is hot nowdays.
Mclaren should fire design guy and bring back who designed P1.
Ferrari is doing OK but too much sometimes.
I want to be overwehlmed by Italian elegance by Ferrari like they did long time ago...

Can’t imagine how sad ones life must be to spend so much time browsing through forums about things you don’t like. Wouldn’t that time be better spent on the things you do enjoy? Life is too short as it is ... negativity shortens it further still. Be happy.

I know not addressed to me, but I appreciate the clarification. It sounds like you do have a real interest in these cars. Even if you didn't that's fine too. Just curious where you were coming from. Best wishes on the Aston, I'm rooting for them to start making money again. I think competition is not only good, but necessary.

    Cheers

I have said it many times, that those new aston concepts are super boring. Have a good look on them.

Still say that McLaren should’ve bought Aston. Aston gets the engines, front engine market and CF tech, Macca gets better design and the mid engine car space...

    All British, all the time!

I agree in the hands of normal drivers the 488 is quicker. Having had the privilege of taking a 488 and an 812 around Fiarano for 2 days the 488 is quicker in my hands. It is a big go cart and easily recovered when you make a hash of it. The 812 is mighty down the straight but heavy under breaking, squirms into the corners and didn’t fill me with as much confidence as the 488. But it clearly has the potential to be massively fast in the hands of a pro. The Pista must be a real blast.

What makes you think I browse forums about things I don't like? I really only look at a couple sections and it's usually related to the latest and greatest car until all the news settles. Just because I think the SF90 is ugly doesn't mean I'm not interested in other stuff about it. I'm very interested to see how it performs, how much it actually weighs, what they end up costing, etc. Heck, this is a pictures and news thread and I'm very interested to see it in colors other than those ugly two-tones. Maybe I'll change my mind once someone spec's it right. Who knows...

Also, my average post count per day over the last 12 years is apparently like 1. So don't worry about the 2 minutes I spend on average making a post. It's usually while I'm on the underground or taking a **** or something...
