My mrs is wrapped in Cotton wool according to her friends as she doesn’t pay for anything and gets whatever she wants, whenever she wants, and if anyone says bad things to her, a big nasty Albanian visits them and explains proper etiquette when addressing my lady hehehe

No, I tease her that she looks Eastern European (for which I have a real thing - Russians, Lithuanians etc), but she is boringly English. The Albanian I speak of is my right hand man, the chap that collects what is owed me when it isn’t paid on time, and looks after me when I’m out and about!

Just moving to a new car does not provide instant competitiveness. Autosport had a nice feature on that flawed line of thinking. There is alot to moving to a new car and team. Ask Ricci. Just of late is he matching and exceeding Hulk.

 

He will finish second; if he threatens LH he will be ordered to move over. If LH were in any other car but the MB, he’d be trailing massively just like everyone else. It’s all about the tech. No different than it was for seb at RB. Schumey at least built Ferrari into a winner, which is why he will always be the best imho.

 

Hasn’t he won in it? I think you missed some races sunbeam. He’s definitely benefited from the Mercedes, and if a mediocre butler like bottas can do it, doesn’t say much for Elton does it?, especially when he has soundly beaten Elton on occasion

Bottas and Hamilton have both been getting Poles and Wins this year.
Bottas is starting to get in the groove at Mercedes and it could get nice and tight between them.
Sadly probably not as exciting as Rosberg / Hamilton.

 

Johny Herbert won along with Micheal in the Bennetton, Irvine & Barrichello also won in the Ferrari, doesn’t say much for Schumi does it?

 

I was referring to championships, which takes more skill than winning a few races. So back to my point, Bottas finished 5th last year, why did he not finish higher do to the Merc dominance?

 

Who knows - he might have had some grief at home.
Who knows - car may have been more suited to Lewis.

We know why, toto made him move over on plenty of occasions, and to blow his own races to keep any slight chance of a challenge at bay. He is called butler for a reason
