It would seem very out of place if they did not make an 812 VS. I think it's fairly safe to assume there will be a VS.
As always few dealers etc. will say anything, but it's been hinted here and there.

enrico galleria told autocar that they are trying to become a lot less predictable. So more surprising special models?

Even the artist realized that, he resorted to double wheel spokes twisted ~25 degrees, some specular highlights on the headlights and even a little smoke to draw the eye away from that abomination behind the cockpit.

812VS not limited? That would be a new direction

I have to ask, where does that info come from, because that's way out of the "norm".

I was told 812VS coupe will not limited and the 812 VS Aperta will be super limited.

The wheels are similar to the wheels shown on the car in "my Ferrari" when you log on, if you have an 812 in my Ferrari.

It is the norm now apart from the Icon models . Special series rather than limited series. Their business model has changed. They have to hope the customers go with it.

    Agreed.
I think/hope it means more people will get the cars they really want without having to purchase what they don't want.
My perception is Ferrari have done a lot of work calculating how not to leak value in the form of premiums paid in secondary market but have segmented clients into groups for each type of car so as to make sure demand is there.Should benefit enthusiasts and deter flippers.
I understand the main concern is how to attract and deal with completely new clients.I think we will find a percentage of certain models will be reserved for clients who have never owned a Ferrari before.

True vert true., Then maybe that means they will need to stop selling the Lusso and maybe even the Portofino, or at least reduce volumes to true market demand, which is vastly inferior to current "sales" . I love my Lusso but it is clear the market does not . One of the worst depreciating cars on the market. Dealers are massively over stocked with California and Portofino cars. With all the extra volume, and accessibility, there is a real risk that there are no customers for used cars unless they depreciate rapidly into a wider audience market, if that makes sense (sub 100k ) . In the past, it was the only way to get into a nearly new car, now you order your own. The secondary market is the one to watch with this new strategy. Look at how the 812 used market has filled up. Probably driven by people worried about residual values dropping off a cliff due to excess volume , new point, I don't know. But the model has changed, and I am not sure the customer is on board yet.

I for one am ready to jump off and don’t want to play their game. I wont commit as Much as I was before the change when my purchasing will be paid off by limited models.

Icona too expensive for what it is and I am not sure we will have any easily accessible fuel station left in 20 years when I might gain some after all those years let alone I survive the next 20 years.

It should be a car for now or never. If it is too much to enjoy what is the point? I saw people rationalizing the cost of battery pack change of 200k for their LaF saying they wont risk driving LaF so the change is actually cheap.

Buy a house then not cars for a show piece.

Now I am done and I am fine with not getting super expensive Hyper anyway.

If I get to a point of buying one, my mind is set to chiron.

My comment for you was more related to your question regarding if there would be an 812VS. Not whether or not it would be limited.

I will not be very surprised if it is not limited by numbers, but I will be stumped if they don't make an 812VS.

That it will be very good looking. In my opinion a much better buy than the Monza, considering that it will cost a fraction of that (more or less one quart) and will have a roof (and a windshield) despite being (basically) the same car.

    ciao

Thank you. I have been told the roof is of the 488 GTB type rather than Portofino?

I was also told that other than the roof there are some changes to the front and rear of the car compared to the 812 Coupe. Correct?
