    Why? Two completely different cars.

I have a pista coming- sold my 488 and could care less about the f8. Not a single Pista owner/future owner has complained about the f8 coming.

I have an F8 coming (hopefully Q1 next year) and could not care less about the Pista ;)
Joke aside, in intrinsic value as a car (from a driver's perspective) I believe the F8 will be actually very close to a Pista.
From an owner's perspective, the Pista will be more prestigious for those sensitive to exclusivity.

The F8 is an awesome car and I agree by the numbers very close to a Pista. Pista IMHO is a better car and will be more resistant to depreciation over time.

Hope you get your F8 Q1 next year, 2 dealerships I have contacted in the US are still not sure of delivery time next year.

To be honest Q1 is optimistic, Q2 is actually more likely :(

They are very close, but I guess that the Pista is the more hardcore, while the F8 the more liveable of the two.

I don’t know why the f8 potential owners need to constantly compare their cars to the Pista- like I stated previously- 2 different cars at 2’different price points.

Be happy with your f8. It’s an excellent car. Pista owners are happy with their choice and No one cares the f8 might have similar performance.

For all intents and purposes the Pista and F8 will be 99% the same car. If owners would like to make believe one is far superior to the other that’s fine.

Except one is a regular production car with an msrp of 75k less. Different price points- different cars. Both great.

Seeing the F8 live, my opinion of the aesthetics, especially the front and rear, have been markedly elevated. The car is stunning from all angles. The Pista rear is however, the more hardcore, edgy and exciting.

Agreed. Can’t look at the F8’s rear wothout thinking Corvette.

    Kind regards,

    Nuno.

It does look better in person but it is arguably the least appealing view of the car.

Maybe so but you would be able to hand back that Pista plus extra cash.

Well im a Non carbon guy so buying the Pista wouldn't make sense. I prefer the more luxury avenue. All leather interior and no carbon.

Im surprised how many will spend on the carbon only not have a leather roof ( that horrible standard scourer pad material ) and no electrochromatic mirrors ( only to have the crappy standard rear view mirror )

BTW which way are you going with the bonnet strip near the wipers ? Painted or left plastic black like the other exterior parts ?

Cool. It perplexes me why they have that strip in the first place ?
