    Hi all.

Bought my 360 Spider recently with a Capristo exhaust fitted.

Question for anyone who has a 360 and has gone down the exhaust mod route.

I'm looking to get some crackle, bangs and pop on the over-run.

Used to own a 4.2 Maserati GranTurismo with Larini exhaust and Larini Sports cats. The crackle, bangs and pops on the over-run at 4000rpm lifting off second gear on that thing was absolutely insane.

Any suggestions? Thinking maybe swap out the standard cats for Larini Cats?

I've experimented with this (prototyped it) in the engine ecu programming on 360s and F430s. By delaying the time for fuel cut after coming off the throttle you get this phenomenon. Pops and crackles.

Decat / "Fabspeed test pipes" + Tubi system:

Gives pops even while driving slowly with low revs and shifting UP. Occasional burble when going engine braking, especially on descent. Not to mention usual pops when SPORT mode downshifting. Depends really much how warm outside temp / car / exhaust system is but car sounds really much like those old school classic Ferraris. I'm super happy.

Downside is somewhat sooty tailpipe surroundings if not properly hand washed with good "tar remover" stuff.

Its a feature I'm adding to SAK Tool (see the Ferrari Swiss Army Knife thread), so yes you'll be able to choose if you want it or not. I think the best way to accomplish this is have it ON when in sport/race mode and OFF in normal so it becomes a switchable setting. What do you think?

Sign me up, I’d be happy to have it all the time, no reason to ever be without it. It’s one of the things I love about my upgrade from the standard M4 to the M4 competition, the beautiful exhaust burbles. It’s always been the thing that the 360 is missing.

Trev, I’ll read through the thread, started last night, is it a service you offer now or still a DIY?
