I have searched the forum and find lots of info about Mondial Fuse box problems, but only up to the 3.2 model. I had the impression the 3.4 was a completely revised system. Can anyone tell me if this is true, or does it share the same fuse box problems as the previous models? Maybe I just missed the comment referring to the 3.4.

I worked on a Mondial T and the fuse box is up in the frunk, left hand side. I bet it is similar to all other Mondial, and looks nothing like the fusebox at the passenger footwell of a 348.

I just put in an SRI fuse box in my T.
    Fixed all my electrical issues.

Thanks. Can you tell me the kind of electrical issues you had? I appear to have two, the starter sometimes does not engage, especially when warm and the A/C, tail light, brake light, radio fuse gets extremely hot and eventually needs to be replaced after a couple of hours driving.

Yea that’s similar to what I had. I had fuel pump relays and window fuses getting extremely hot. Also ignition or fuel pump cut outs while driving. My ac fuse completely melted the plastic housing. It’s a fuse box problem, the panels separate and build up large amounts of resistance over time.
There are 2 or three options for fuse boxes. Member “Theussienguido” makes one and then there’s the one I bought and I think GT car parts or a name similar to that makes one as well.
You need to address it soon because if the main harness wires leading to the fuse box melt it opens up a huge can of worms.
My main wires running to the fuse box were extremely hot and starting to melt the plastic sheathing on the wires.

Not sure about your other issue but the starting problem could probably be solved with an extra relay in the system. Do a search for 348 starter relay mod.
