As above, 206 GT featured in current edition of C&SC. Car UK registered MCW 143G.

Article states that MCW 143G is thought to be the only running 206 in the UK and 1 of 80 left worldwide???

 

Interesting read, it could push up 246 prices with values at £600 -800K for the 206.

Too bad it is no longer in its original color Argento Metallizzato 106-E-1 with black interior and blue seat inserts.

Some photo's of #00262 at the FOC Concours event at Boughton House in Northamptonshire in July 2012. I believe the car had just completed a full restoration before this event. The interior was retrimmed by Rob O'Rourke.

I'm pleasantly surprised that the article mentioned the dinoplex ignition, although they did spell fouling as 'fowling'. That magazine is the only magazine I advertise in, 4 times a year. Not cheap for a tiny advert. It's on page 236 of this August issue. Fred

 

I owed 00364 from mid 1970s to late 1980s. The car paint was not metallic...Dino Rosso

I thought the Obrist 206 was s/n 00364, the car l once owned. Did he previously own two 206 Dino's?

 

I was of the same opinion. And yes, Obrist did have 00364.
TTBOMK he owned just one 206 GT.

Wow! She looks beautiful! That was my dad's old Ferrari dino, I grew up with that car. What great memories! I've always wondered where she ended up and I couldn't be happier to see that she is great hands. Absolutely amazing!
