    I just came from Ricambi website where it says the cylinder liner for a 348/355 is Unavailable. Damn, when did that happen and where do people get their liners at this point? I am looking for one liner, with a green dot.

    I know euro spares sold them when i bought two a few years back. Be sure to get new seals from them to. But you already know that :)
    Have you got a cylinder liner puller?

    EuroSpares has liners listed for $354. Don't know if they are green dot. Might check Tom Vail's all Ferrari Parts. And maybe our old friend Dave Rocks.

    How bad is the liner? Could you have it re-plated?

    its a very very thin coating of nikasil not a plating. I asume its nikasil in the 348 as it is in tbe 355?
    I would guess that if the damage has gone through the coating, then the liner is FUBAR.
    I found that taking the liners out was harder than putting them back in.

    In one of Bradan's threads they sent out liners for re-what ever you want to call putting the nikasil on.

    I am sure they did.....on an un damaged liner. Its called a coating, but you can call it a plating, thats ok :)

    A coating is what it is called. Electroplating is how it is applied. :)
