    I prefer the concave wheels to the convex wheels, even if the '89 MY is loved by buyers.

    Amalgam Collection;

    Do you intend to make 1:18 Diecast models of the series 3, 250 GTE or the single headlight 330GT 2+2. I have been looking for these for a number of years.

    MG Model released a very limited 1:18 scale run of the 250 GTE a few years ago. Do a Google search and you'll find images and sources. The MG piece was ok, but not great. BUT.....Matrix Scale Models is going to release one in the near future, and photos can be found on their website. Here is the link to the page on their site that shows all of their 1:18 models (current and future). www.matrixscalemodels.com/products.aspx?products=XL_118_series

    The prices for the Matrix models are reasonable - offering very good value for the money.

    This looks really bad for a quality product like Amalgam's. Something with the resin maybe...

    Totally agreeand I scanned their site for one before reading this! GTS please! I’d also prefer the concave (86-88) wheels.

    I agree, for those high value products, quality control is always important, those kinds of problems are not acceptable.

    Have a question about the very intensive smell from the models!

    Also the older models smells very bad after epoxy, paint, don‘t know exactly what it is
    but i smells brutal!

    My 250 testarossa stand without the cover in a USM Haller vitrine
    and the room start to smell after it.

    This is a really big probelm because my wife get nervous about health risk.

    Christian.... speaking from my own experience as a long time model collector, and also a resin model manufacturer. What you are describing sounds like continuous off-gassing of cheap, low quality resin that some manufacturers use. The paint does not off-gas for very long, so I am sure it is the resin, which is Not the best for anyone's health. Similar with low cost cheap furniture...IKEA, and others where there is some off gassing of the materials they use too.... and the "new car smell" we get in all brand new cars.

    The resins I have used in my CMA brand are high quality very pure type, which are more expensive as they have much less cheap filler material in them, and any off-gassing of the types of resin we use do not have much of an odor at all, and is short term, and happens over the first 2-3 days (long before anything gets shipped). I have found that same strong unhealthy odor over many years with some kits and built models that I have bought , sold, and just seen in various collections. And these with the odor are in the minority, most resin models are fine.

    Any photos of Strolls 330 P4 or his car collection in general you could share? I haven't seen any recent pictures of the collection

    Why is the rear wheel so indented/recessed? The gap both horizontal and vertical look weird.
