where a member had his car measured with no fuel, but with fluids and suspension lifter/premium fi-fi and leather options/no carbon wheels at 1393kg. As discussed there, it seems in line with Ferrari's dry weight of 1280kg with the lightest options.

Here's a link. Don't ban me FerrariChat. I don't make anything off my YT videos as I don't have a big enough account. But here's the video scaling a new 3RS, Pista and 600LT

Funny to have to worry about being banned for posting videos. I think you're OK.

So the actual weight for a Pista is 1532 kg vs 1385 kg quoted by Ferrari... maybe I'll have an opportunity to weight my 488 GTB (for which Ferrari quotes 1475 g...), and then I'll try to weight the F8.

Ryans Pista had a full tank of gas so 150 pounds of that is gas - Ferrari is quoting dry weight I believe. Also I dont know Ryans spec but he didnt have carbon wheels - and likely ferrari weight is carbon wheels, no stereo etc etc. its not too far off from their numbers.

    cool vid

Ryan, thanks for taking the time to post this up. Reality is often a cold slap in the face...3379 sounds like a heavy car, even though I understand that's with a full tank. Sure wish it was lighter, but I still can't wait to get mine.

Once you drive it you’ll see it doesn’t feel heavy. Good thing the motor is strong I took a Pista to the track too and it’s incredible. You’re going to love it!

Of course I understand that the Pista is a great car, based on the 488. But if you asked a non/casual car person which car had a carbon fiber tub (giving them the car's price tag only)
is it the $485,000 one or the one that costs $200,000 less? Just doesn't seem right. (poorly worded but you get my point)

and Alfa sold the cf 4C for a around $80,000

A full tank of gas is 150 pounds? Probably the same with a 458 spider? Good to know.

That was a cool video to watch, thanks for posting. Count me as another curious on 488 GTB weight if you can do it!

Any accuracy concerns with that type of scale set up with the iPad?

No they are very accurate. It’s a $2000 Longacre wireless setup. I have another set of scales too that are wired and read the same. My floor is slanted a bit for drainage I’m sure so the corner weights are probably slightly off but the overall weights are very accurate. There’s also a short pad under the front left (wheel stop) so that’s changing the corner weights a bit too. Here’s a shot of the Pista weights

Incorrect. It’s just over 6lbs per gal. Water is a hair over 8lbs per gal.

here we go with the selective banning/moderation.... you posted your own video, you sell these cars, and no ban...
