I know. I was kidding. Looks more like the SD Navy base in the background, than the Shipping Channel. What-a-burger? WTF?!? I thought it was pronounced Watt-a-burger, as in JJ Watt, but I'm just a Yankee transplant, so wadda I know! T

Supposedly the Texans had reached out to work a trade to deal Clowney to the Dolphins and apparently Clowney said no. Now the rumor is they're looking at other teams to make a deal. Of course this is rumors. I'm sort of expecting this year to be disastrous for the Texans.
Unless they have a similar problem that the 'Skins have: HTTR! https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/27377750/sources-redskins-not-listening-williams-offers
The thinking is is that Clowney and OB have just never been on the same page. Clowney is actually such a sweetheart he seems like. And I think since Clowney just comes across by nature as lackadaisical that's partly where the lazy tag comes from. Anyways, who the hell knows. We don't even have a GM right now.
I think a lot of people, especially those who might not follow the Texans closely, may still have an image of Clowney from his first year when he struggled and looked to be shaping up as a monumental draft bust. Picks as high as he was are expected to be high impact right away...T
His first season he went out with a knee injury, I believe it happened the first game. It's split on what people think of him. Too many are judging just on the sack numbers.
here's more gas to the Clowney fire. He's holding out since they franchised him as a LB I think. Texans need a Left Tackle. Philly is suddenly deep at tackle although starter Peters is 2,000 years old. They would make Vitai available for Clowney who would love to play for the Iggs. That's the latest out of Philly, unless you want to hear about all the poor camp everyone says Wentz is having.
Forgot to add that every NFL player would love to play for the Iggs, including that # 12 for the Boston team, but word is he would not accept back-up role. Tom C - did your 'Boys find a QB for the upcoming season?
I mentioned it a few pages back I believe, but the Texans didn't list him as an LB, for some reason the NFL is the one that ultimately decides which position they belong. No one really knows what Clowney is looking for. There has literally been zero word from Clowneys camp. OB's problem is he believes he knows better than everyone else.
Interesting. Here they're saying that Williams has no plans to negotiate with the skins at all. And I swear I heard something the other day that Kirk Cousins dad said that the skins had offered more than the Vikings and that's all you have to know about why he left. What's going on with your med staff because they've ****ed up a lot?
Jason. He whose name may not be mentioned also bubbled up in Eagles' beat writers list of back-up QBs for Wentz and there was a lot of support for them giving him a good look.
Eagles QB depth chart not pretty: 3 or 4 taxi squad guys including Ron Jaworski. I think there's more than a fair chance the progressive owner and GM are already making inquiries into HWNMNBM. The NFC East is going to be a real puzzle this year. Giants QB controversy will heat up when they start 0-2 and fans clamor for the Dookie. Redskins will be usual disaster. That team in Texas not called the Texans have a two billion dollar QB and no one for him to throw to and the pressure is on the Philadelphia franchise who EVERYONE expects to go 19-0. NFC East plays the weak sister AFC East this year, but also NFC Tundra division and that might be best in football top to bottom.
How much weight has Matt Patricia gained since he left NE? Watching him the other night on the sidelines, aside from his leg, he looked flat out miserable. https://www.mlive.com/lions/2019/08/oddsmakers-rate-detroits-matt-patricia-among-least-likely-for-winning-coach-of-the-year.html
We have to make a song about NE assistant coaches along with lines of "Hotel California". You can check in, but you can never leave . . . .
Nick Sabin hasn't done too badly! Of course, per Wiki, he doesn't seem to have enjoyed it... The following February, Saban resigned as Toledo's head coach after only one season in order to become defensive coordinator of the Cleveland Browns under head coach Bill Belichick.[20] He remained in that position for four seasons. Saban later said these four years were the "worst of my life".[21] T
Apparently last year when they were here he demeaned a reporter at a press conference about his posture. So the guys on all the shows have been clowning on him sitting on his four wheeler all practice. Clint Stoerner said he didn't even realize it was MP until people started whispering about who the guy on the cart was. Then he said during the player availability Clint watched some lions fan, 1 guy, asked him for an autograph and tell the guy no.
