365 GT 2+2 #Vin Check

Hi Guys,

Is there anyway too look up the originality of a 365 Gt 2+2 I'm currently looking at and intend to purchase? It is a 69, Vin number is 11897.

There are references here to it being in Belgium 2006/2008

Yes the car is still in Belgium. I want to confirm that the car is original and not a replica if that makes sense.

 

If you go with the vin to a Ferrari dealership, they should be able to supply a specification letter (contains colours, options, engine and gearbox and assembly number)... so you know how the car left the factory.

Do you know of any dealers that can help with this? any contacts? Reason being I am from Malta, a small country in Europe and there aren't any Ferrari dealers locally.

If you asked nicely, @Marcel Massini may be able to at least confirm to you it is a real 365 GT 2+2 and not a "replica" as you say.

Can you gather the engine number and interno?
