I really like this comparison. I would have said the order of preference in appearance was 003, SF90, Battista but from that side view, SF90 is easily the nicest design. It has the shortest wheelbase, making the wheels appear more dominant, it also has a very interesting falling waistline towards the B post, counterbalanced by the metal above the waistline on the B post. It looks resolved, muscular and prone. The 003 looks good but a little more awkward than I would have thought and the Batista just looks too big and long. And it’s a pretty boring design too. I know it’s subjective and many seem to want to dislike the Ferrari but I think it is pretty clear to see.

We´ll resume this conversation when Ferrari presents their first electric car and we hear the latest laments of the old farts.

Exhaust pipes in that case would be naff. A car that utilises an ICE needs them though.

I beleive they are going to show the car at 7pm tonight at pebble beach at casa Ferrari at least that is what i was told and I plan to attend to form my opinion but truthfully the back end will need to look a lot better in person for me to buy one particularly since I apparently an old fart that likes Ferraris to sound exceptional.....

I understand it will be on display all weekend..the back is still a little awkward but i think it could look good.. they did announce that it will be widely available that anyone at the event could get one if they like

This car design is a big failure.. the back is a total mess, the designer was thinking of a futuristic taillight so he ended up with a camaro .. otherwise it's hybrid that can go only 25 km on electric mode!! Such another failure .. if I was Ferrari I would go fully electric .. a car like the Pininfarina Battista which is fully electric can go 400 km with its 1900 horse power = true stepforward .. Otherwise the sf90 is not even a pure italian design (probably a hybrid camaro) and looks like the back of the car is a part of a very different car ! UNLIKE THE Pininfarina Battista WHICH is a true futuristic masterpiece .♥️

    Aston valhalla doesn't exist yet , it's a computer picture .
With all their financial problems, I really doubt they will deliver their in-house V6 for this car and for the new vanquish.
    SF 90 stradale is a reality .

First of all I don't know why u replied in French! Do the others will understand french like me and u. Anyway I was mainly talking about the style of the car [the back of the car is awful awful .. it's even awful to the level I try not to look at, I do that to NOT hate Ferrari.. I love Ferrari that's why I try not to look at the back of this car . Every1 loves Ferrari for a reason. Mine has always been its stylish appearance, its like if YSL or Louis Vuitton decided to change their logo. That's what happen here with this ugly camaro rear end. I even wanted to cry . Where is Ferrari DNA. That's awful . And I have no problems with hybird or electric but I find the car not a true hybird, like if Ferrari want to say yeah I'm hybird but oh yeah not very hybird too. The car is weak and big design failure and the sales will prove it. No true ferrari fan will ever love it, otherwise, others will wait for the fully electric car from Ferrari.

Everywhere. You just don't like it. Others do!

It's not a Prius and pure electric propulsion is not a priority. The hybrid element is there for performance purposes, taking into account the emissions restrictions. Pure electric is very restrictive at the moment (weight, range and recharging issues) and Ferrari will want to keep the ICE as long as possible, as this is its trademark and USP. Also, since all electric motors have the same driving characteristics, there won't be a driving difference between sportscars (referring to the drivetrain, not the handling), as there is today with the ICE. Boring... Anyway, the ICE is far from dead.

The Valhalla just looks plane odd the canopy is all wrong and looks out of proportion with the rest of the car.

I personally love the rear end of the car and know others who do too. It’s aggressive and futuristic. If anything I wished the front was more deeply sculpted.

The Battista can obviously travel on electric power much further than the SF90 because it’s only source of energy is the (massive) battery, whereas the primary source of propulsion on the SF90 is the ICE with a relatively small hybrid battery pack. The electric motors are there to augment the ICE by providing improved traction (the limiting factor nowadays) and provide torque fill. The battery is much smaller as pure electric is not the primary driving mode for the car.
