I agree. I have seen a couple TdF's I wasn't crazy about spec, but these two just posted I think are great and IMHO both easily marketable.

the inverse color seats in the red one actually made my stomach move - and thats not an easy thing to do

The yellow is bearable, but the red interior is truly terrible - but if someone specced it, at least one person should like it...

I would take them all day over vanilla grey/black or red/black.
TDF and other LE’s can be a bit more extreme and command it.

Ronald McDonald specs need not apply.

I agree. On cars like the TDF, I really don't know why owners would spec a vanilla spec on such a special car? To flip perhaps?

The red car with the inverse seat colors is just too much. Being creative doesn't mean you need throw up as well. :D

While I wouldn't spec the yellow car in the same fashion as the original owner, I would still take it over any of the vanilla spec cars.

Both specs terrible. Red interior looks angry. Yellow and blue interior designed by colorblind buyer.

Sometimes it’s easy to confuse classic with vanilla. On that car especially, I’ll take tried and true over bold and new...

Eagerly waiting and watching. Recession hits I still contend the TDF transacts > MSRP.

no doubt, but NOT 1.2 - 1.5 mil as was the case not long ago.
LaF, Tdf, Pista, Speciale, etc. and the like, always least affected.

Hammer was $820k ($907k including buyer premium), so I imagine seller proceeds somewhere around 10% below hammer, so in the $750k area.

With the GTO trading less than $500k and maybe a 812 limited edition on the way, there could be a good opportunity soon to do that at an even better price.

Lesson to be learned is dont overspec a car unless u think u will take it the grave. This guy might have come out 30k ahead. I did 13 times better.
