This year Chicago's events have been rather weak. I think LFSC concours is gone for good..so all we have left are Ferrari Lunch on Monroe and the Ferrari Special by FuelFed.

I agree. With as many collector cars as we have in the area we should have a good event to showcase some of them. Very weak concours events locally. I think the Geneva and FuelFed Ferrari events are the best. I also wish they would turn that Milwaukee Mile Miller Indy event into a more all open wheel event including vintage F1. Invite more European cars, as Indy was a F1 event back in the 1950's lets not forget. :) They already stretched from just Miller to Miller and Indy. One more step and maybe 100 cars total. It's already the best vintage event in the area(region and probably the best vintage Indy event in the country) .

Biggest disappointments is the Brian Redman Challenge and Milwaukee Masterpiece. They have really gone downhill and turned into poor quality events with a few exceptions. I wish Joe Marchetti was still alive to run the Road America historical races (Chicago Historics as they used to call it).

I have not, but those events seem to be secondary due to the local specialty events (Fuelfed, Rise And Drive, Supercar Saturdays). Are they any good?

I’ve only been to the northern suburbs cars and coffee in Vernon hills, it’s a very large turnout with cars from Subaru’s to mclarens. Plus there is no horseplay allowed and that explicitly stated. It’s not bad and seems pretty good

Nothing against FCA, but I’m probably skipping Italian Village and going to FuelFed instead. Featured marquees are Maserati and Lamborghini.

The fall vintage race at RA is going to be an audible. Weather and Riot Fest. Would love to go to Geneva, but my son is doing his first International distance triathlon on Sunday.

For a variety of reasons, I’m not on social media. So thanks for finding the info, because otherwise I wouldn’t have looked for them. The 1st might work.

If you still have your FCA card, you can try to slip into their lot.

The ASA Spyder I think was my favorite and ridiculously rare. And it's owned by JW so it will be taken care of. I also loved among others the Bobby Rahal Alfa GTA. I was really late getting there today so I missed a few including the ISO, but I saw that one get restored. It used to be red.
