    This Testarossa came in with a heavy fuel leak. We found the dry rotted fuel hose broke off and sprayed gasoline all over the engine.

    That has to be one of the worst pressure plates and flywheels I have seen in ages! And lord does that car have some issues, but looking forward to the coming progress pics!

    Help me understand how you assessed the condition of water pump’s bearing. This is a pic of the seal over the bearing. It looks pretty nasty - any idea how all the gunk accumulated? Slow leak in the water pump seal? Looks like corrosion - but I am unsure of what might have corroded to leave that much gunk there.

    Plugged drain hole?
    Antifreeze in the oil?
