Is there a photo leak ?
That is not it. Wish it was with that flatter rear deck. May have been one of the styling proposals. The buttresses are much more pronounced and there are no hoops (550 B style)
Car is very nice. Essentially the 488 Spider mechanism retractable hard top grafted onto the 812. The car loses the side intakes behind the 3/4 window. The car looks a lot more like a 599 from behind because of the absence of a slopes rear window. The 2 buttresses echo the SP2 from the back with the roof down. Boot space is very close to that of the 812 (minus the rear parcel shelf). The 812SF is definitely more elegant IMHO but a V12 production spider after more than 50yrs (Daytona) is a great thing. Please don’t ask me about GPF because I don’t give a f—k about such things Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
It looks imo less aggressive and muscular than the coupe from the back. Some people may find it more elegant others ( incl myself) might think it has less drama. I’d say i prefer the lines of the coupe overall
I agree - not a fan of the blacked-out 3/4 window. The 812SF has great lines behind the side glass. I must say the car looked better in red than grey IMHO - not sure why. The new wheels are also nice - a variation on the TdF wheels. Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
Can't wait to see the car on monday...hope I can change the wheels on the order of the "standard" 812
If you want the 812 Spider wheels on your 812SF, I'm quite certain your dealer will have to order a set. Maybe see if you can work out a trade. I don't think they will be on the 812SF options list.any time soon - if ever.
Anyone have pictures outside Universo Ferrari? Or inside before the cameras were banned? Where is it? By the Museum?
I’m going to guess the head protection / roll bar and the buttresses behind them are VERY similar to the SP3JC cars for John Collins.

I took a short video inside, it's a bit disjointed as I was hoping to film the new cars. I say at the end that that is where they are going to reveal the new V12 Spider, but it was not, it around the corner, they had revolving stands that we sat on which opened up and the cars drove past, a very special day. Don't watch if you are going. It's open to the public for a short time from the 21st of Spetember.
Sadly not. The Collins car has a transparent retractable 3/4 window. In the 812 there is more structure and the window is a black painted dummy. The SP3JC did not have to incorporate a folding hard-top Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat
So this is what they are going to build next to the Pista di Fiorano after the Universo Ferrari event: http://www.modenatoday.it/attualita/costruzione-nuovi.capannoni-ferrari-accanto-pista-fiorano-2019.html I wonder what kind of operations will take place in the new facilities.
