Reno radio after Hulk left the pits said "Remember the plan", still waiting for a stewards decision.

Not good for the paying spectators though ...

Also "brings the sport into disrepute" and makes F1 a laughing stock.

    Agreed 100%.

If they want to shoot themselves in the foot with a bazooka - let them indeed.

Above all, let’s avoid introducing new rules and regulations.

I found it quite funny, actually. And it reminds us what F1 is, after all: a circus.

Meh . . . the fans at Monza had to be thrilled at successive poles for Leclerc, no matter the circumstance.

F1 pushes the limits. They did this today and they got caught out.

I think they can handle one day of laughing and finger pointing if it's a lesson learned. I'll let this be F1's day of suffering through an "own goal".

Regarding the current qualifying format, I like it. The only thing I might change is to split Q1 into two groups like IndyCar. This would eliminate some traffic congestion, especially in places like Monaco.

Missed the quali, anyone care to explain the debacle?

Looked like Stroll/Hulkenburg slow and blocking to let the pack through to make the Chequered flag for a final lap? Or everyone waiting for someone else so they could get the tow?

    Seriously? That's F1's response.

"Dude, it was like totally cray-cray, ya know?"

I’m not certain what they expect. Sainz & Leclerc should be in the clear. Hulkenburg seemed to be blocking down the start/finish straight as everyone was missing the clock. Stroll & Hulkenburg slowed the field unnecessarily early in the warm up lap. The only thing I see with the other 6 drivers is that they didn’t simply pass them and drop the tow strategy

Ugly crash but that injury situation could have been worse. All caused by a curb

Maybe a false alarm. Hulk and Stroll have been called, no confirmation about other drivers yet.

They’ll probably award pole to Elton and claim everyone ganged up on him. Cheating stewards. Chuck hulk and stroll to the back or disqualify them completely, and get on with it. The drivers are just guilty of being too stupid to realise they should have overtaken any way they could - so what. And bottas time should be deleted

Forza Ferrari..... the only racing team and car marque that matters. Italia forever It’s easier to apologise than it is to ask permission

Hopefully they don’t make the debacle even worse. Two drivers were specifically out-of-line, but they should be relegated below the guys who couldn’t set a time at worst (imo)

Agree on the solution...there isn’t any way LeClerc can be lumped in. His time would have counted in the second run.
