LH44 was NOT congratulating F16 on the win, He was thanking F16 for securing him the Driver's Championship.

Ferrari has won at Monza and God is in his heaven. All is right with the world.

Now today, in my opinion, is a real 100% victory. A young driver under tremendous pressure, took himself and his car to the limits and decisively won the race from beginning to end. Today Ferrari had the better car, a solid strategy, and the best driver. And he did it on his own, while his rivals had two cars and drivers to throw at him and he beat them both...without any assistance. Today is Ferrari at their best. No luck involved. Today should be their model for the rest of the season. Congratulations to Charles and the whole team.

Really doubt they have the best car ,
This is why Leclerc victory is so special.
Spa and Monza = two victories with an inferior car ( race pace)
    Back to normal in Singapore.
Hope they will build a title contender next year.

He's saying the Sky coverage was heavily biased. Couldn't disagree more.

And the day Toto is happy with 2-3 is the day he should quit.

Now that F finally realized what everyone else could see from the beginning of the season,
we should have more to celebrate.

It would have been a lot easier if Vettel stayed on his tail the entire race and they used the DRS to help each other the entire race down the straight away. But then Vettle basically dropped out that wasn't possible. Vettel couldn't even help from behind when the blue flag forced him to give way.

No, I can see it, too. Sky is behind the Brit driver all the way.
Still, there was at least one of the crew that was happy for the "young driver".

But Sky is a bit "head up and locked".
Did you see, in the pre-race grid walk, how the Sky talking head just broke in on someone else's interview of Binotto?
Binotto even tried to defer him, but the Sky jerk just didn't care.
The other interviewer just looked at the Sky camera like "this is what you have?". ;)

Totally agree, that is the most galling thing. The minute anyone does anything Hamilton complains and then when that gives him the win he says "I didn't want to win this way" as per Canada. This winning everything at all costs does get incredibly boring and doesn't prove Hamilton is the greatest. Any one of the top 6 drivers could win in the Mercedes and look like the GOAT. As Rosberg showed.

So does anyone think Charles will ever have to pay for a meal or a drink in Italy after today? He truly was the man again today, the scuderia is fortunate to have him. Classiest, fast, great race craft and does not fold under pressure, the perfect Ferrari driver. Forza Charles, grazie tanto!

I was wrong about bringing LEC into the team this year. I thought it was premature. I was totally wrong.

    I was also wrong.

Very impressed by this young man. His coolness and even adapting to the variables of FIA "allowances" as the season progressed show exceptional maturity. He drove right up to the limit as was laid out in previous races (Toto and Ham can cry themselves a river).

    So much upside for Leclerc!

I wouldn’t call it woop ass but he won fair and square and sent a message that he will not be intimidated, huge kudos to him . If he has a decent car under him , we are in for some very exciting times

There's no shortage of silly implications being floated around these threads regarding Lewis Hamilton. Who know why . . . .

I sincerely feel that today's performance has Charles on the road to a level of reverence with the Italian tifosi last seen with Gilles Villeneuve.

I think Ferrari had the best car today, more so than at Spa were Mercedes seemed stronger in race pace.
The Ferrari engine power one the straights and especially coming out of Parabolica was vital today.
