    His widow Anne Brockington Lee decided not to participate, last minute decision.

    We have had all days five police officers on motorbikes plus one or two police cars to make free way all the time. We never had a single red light nor a stop sign anywhere......… Absolutely fantastic event with fabulous mountain roads, exceptional scenery, great Italian food and entertainment. A HUGE THANK YOU goes to Clive and Allison Beecham and Franco Majno, President of 2FAST4YOU S.r.l., Milan-based event organiser and his team (notably Ms Elena Preda and Silvia Bettina). Not to forget Andrea Dragoni of Carrozzeria Touring Superleggera S.r.l. in Terrazzano di Rho. You guys are THE BEST.

    but I think such "police help" in europe is only possible in italy for ferraris/mille miglia and in france for the tour de france.
