Two games in the books and not a single TD pass from Newton. Clearly the Bucs figured out that if you shut down CMC we literally can’t do anything on offense. Rivera needs to go, and barring some sort of miraculous improvement by Newton he needs to go too. I can guarantee you that we would have won if I started at QB. We have one of the best teams in the league on paper and the offense can’t score a damn point against one of the worst teams in the league. Pathetic.

Why did Carolina try to get cute on that last play? It's amazing how many times it's forgotten that a straight line is the way to go when you only have to make a 1/2 yard. Ron Rivera, you'll be gone before year's end.
There is something physically wrong with Cam. He couldn't throw the ball for crap, although he was constantly under pressure due to his substandard offensive line. I also think that's why they didn't put the ball in his hands on that last play. He should have been able to sneak forward for one yard.

Is it just me or does it seem like Winston has a bit of a different attitude this year? He seems more serious if that makes sense. Just watched his press conference and just came across differently than I remember from last season.
What is up with his hair? He also dressed pretty sharply and then just went off the rails. Honestly, I'm expecting him to come out and say he's bi or something like that now. lol In all seriousness, perhaps retirement is on his mind and Andrew Luck just made it a hell of a lot easier for him.

I agree, but that play was just executed extremely poorly. I don't think mccaffry realized exactly where the end zone was judging by his last minute leap at the end of the play. He really needed to cut up sharply, there was a few spots it looked like he could have fought his way had he changed his attack angle.

I think the metric is catch radius? I heard the Texans radio guys say that his is huge. Watson drilled one, and even though it was off the mark, the radio dudes were surprised he didn't catch it. T
All we know is what the coaching staff tells us. Unfortunately, after continuing to hear that Cam's shoulder was healthy last year when it was obvious he couldn't even throw 15 yards down the field, not many people trust the coaches anymore. Cam just doesn't look right, his throwing motion looks really awkward and he looks like he can hardly move in the pocket. There were already a lot of people calling for Rivera and Turner to be fired at the end of last year, and it's gotten deafening due to the slow start. Everyone's tired of hearing how we lost due to "missed opportunities," and then losing the next game due to the same missed opportunities. I can't imagine Tepper is pleased by how last season ended or how this season started, and if things don't turn around I think some moves will be made.
