I think that its just the market and selling a car that very few people can buy. Plus everyome has their checklost of items that they have to have. There are several cars that have weird configurations... the 2012 one on the west coast on autotrader for example has weird seats with alcantera and leather and has an annoying paint chip on the hood if you see it in person. They have had a hard time selling that car at low price.
Your car looks awesome and is probably the closest thing to what i have in mind. I just want a lift because i want to easily lower the car and i want standard seats because the racing ones pinch (i love the daytona style on yours btw... a major plus!!)
Someone on here awhile ago had a white 458 2011 that was also a good solid car. I dont know what they got for it but i believe it took them amost a year to sell it. You say that you have sold ferraris before so probably dont need to hear this from someone like me. Just saying it will probably take time and the upcoming f8 is probably disrupting the market as some people a wait for discounted 488s. Assuming that your car is as exceptional in person as it looks here, I think you price is fair and i would stand by it if i were you.

Totally agree. I won’t comment on the stripe because I have no idea , but 180k in this market was a good opening offer that should be countered for sure . Maybe settle at 190k . Don’t take the offer lightly , money plays. See if you can work it out. I just sold my house and didn’t get what I wanted instead I got what I could live with and moved on. Best, Kirk

"MOVED" is the KEY word! Im not moving and the car is priced WELL at 201. And by the way 180 is an insult
If i am srious about buying a 2million dollars I dont write an offer for 1.2.

Stand in line at the auction and try to find a car this clean.

    all the best

It was just a suggestion. I took a lot less for my 458 recently because there’s an opportunity cost involved. Took the hit and moved on by putting the money to work.

2 mil down to 1.2 mil?

It would be 2 mil down to 1.8 mil. And that’s not a bad offer. It’s called negotiating. People don’t come out with a first offer of 1.98 when the ask is 2 mil. That’s not how it works. If this spec wasn’t so nice, I would have zero interest at all in buying this car just based on your attitude and behavior. The fact that you are SO offended by an offer that was 10% under ask when this car has been listed for months is absurd. And you refuse to even give me a counter offer.

I agree that the car is priced right but an offer of 90 pct of what you are asking is NOT an insult. That’s a great starting point. Also by using your 2,000,000 figure and a 1,200,000 offer that’s only 60 pct. so not a fair comparison at all.
I wasn’t planning on “moving” I saw a property I liked better , kinda like I saw a car I liked better. Best ,Kirk.
    Ps your car is gorgeous.

Clarification, It is simply a lifestyle expense as opposed to an asset that may appreciate or deprecoate.!

Clarification, a lifestyle expense is something you don't get back. So the fact that you are getting more than a dollar is a bonus.

Yes, that statement was not representative of the embarrasing offer. Look at the 100+ 458 for sale, surprise is I dont see any at 180 or even 190 that's becasue thats a ******** price for botom feeders who want to pack on a comission and sell it AGAIn to somebody else. Is that a better represebation perahps?

Maybe you should try YELL-ow compass to help sell the car. They are a sponsor here and he can address your potential prospects on your behalf.

    LOL,
Welcome to Jerry springer on f-chat. Mike at yellow compass is good. 190-200 is the retail- wholesale delta you are trying to get vs a dealer who would give 180 or less. Mike will tell you what’s wholesale on the price.
