430 Ferrari F430 Full Capristo Exhaust

Hi everyone,

Thank you all for helping me with my exhaust system. I purchased big daddies mini cat O2 spacers and have not had any issues of CELs.

My system: Capristo headers, high flow cats and Capristo muffler.

I love the sound of the car! It is really raw. The backfires are accentuated, pitch is lovely, etc.
I’m very pleased that the exhaust tone does not over power the induction sound you get from the 430, I love the induction sound. I am also impressed that even though this system is much louder, it can still be tame in the cabin. Put the car in a high gear and stay off the throttle, it sounds near stock in the cabin.

What level is this ?

 

Do I need to have my car tuned due to the extra air flow? I’ve had some people tell me that I need to have the fuel tables mapped? What are your thoughts?

360Trev definitely thinks so. And he knows way more than me.

He feels these sport exhausts are actually a slight detriment to performance in the absence of a tune. It is why I've held off having mine installed until I am ready for an ECU tune.
