    i drove my 512tr for the first time in about 4 years today when i brought it home after the importation and rehabilitation process was completed. i love that car !

    anyway, i drove it through town and to the club and then eventually home.

    it still turns heads and gets thumbs up from people.
    i guess nobody sees these cars anymore, and imo they have so much more presence than most of the modern stuff.

    i bought the car that way in 2000 in rome from the dealer.
    i am only the second owner.
    the shields were on when i bought it, and i have left them because i like the way they look.
    otherwise the car is completely stock - not even a much needed tubi.

    and for those of you looking at the body colored engine lid - it was a factory order.

    yes it has been really fun having it back and driving it. i just crossed the 50k km mark today, and i am the one who drove it the last 34k of that.
    i think i have speeding tickets in that car from italy, france, uk, and switzerland.

    keeping it until tuesday and then swapping it for the 512bbi for a week.
