I’m not on anything more than panadol mate. I’m amazed there isn’t more pain. So is the doc. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Thank you mate. It seems everyone has had this procedure done. They tell you how good they feel once they’ve healed. But they don’t tell you about the ****ing pain during recovery! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
This is ramping up! There haven't been any more dirty tactics so far this week, as far as I'm aware, anyway. Are you getting your proxies in? Vote 1: Ian B
Hey Gizzi, what was the problem mate? I have a crook back with 2 herniated discs, I manage at the moment by keeping my core strength up, but I'm keen to get feed back on these procedures as I may well need something in the future. Feel free to PM me if you'd prefer.
My issue was L4 had moved and was crushing the spinal cord. They had to re align it and remove the disc. Then fit cages for bone graft. They used my facet joints, as they were stuffed as well and they removed them from 4 & 5 instead of taking bone from my hip. I can stand up straight now without pain. Obviously my flexibility will be somewhat diminished, but not to bad. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Mate, if you’re not overweight, and still fit and healthy, it will work. I’ve had a couple of mates that needed something similar, and they are very happy. For me I was almost immobile. Living on anti inflammatories and pain killers. Unfortunately I had no other options, and I tried everything. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
I asked Qld pres if he would send out an email and check if everyone had received their paperwork... he asked if I could tell him who had told me they hadn’t received them (I replied non-Qlders) and he suggested people look in their email “junk” boxes (which is in fact where mine landed).
