Image Unavailable, Please Login Here it is! This is my fifth build, and I tried to apply everything I learned from the previous experiences to this one. A few details for those who might be interested in the method behind my madness. All the exterior bits are carbon, which I am generally opposed to, but on this car they just seem to work. Regarding the gold wheels, first, I love 'em, and second, I have a beautiful set of HRE Ligtweights that will also go on the car; they are silver, so I can toggle back and forth. I specced nose lifter, the standard Radio, and some nice little touches inside, but not much carbon in there. A little twist is the interior, including seat inserts and wheel, in chocolato. Finally, you'll notice the absence of a stripe. This was important to me; I wanted to have a blank canvas, upon which I can have my graphics guy apply a never ending variety of stripe configurations as the years go by. As for the Rosa Corsa, there has never been a car color that I love more than this...in the sunlight it makes me want to yodel. No other color for would ever work for me. Also, FYI, its already on the water! This is BY FAR the fastest build I have experienced. Something is happening in Maranello...and I like it
This first build pic came very early on...then the second about a month ago, and now this. However, my experience is that the factory is not very consistent in timing...they sometimes sit on photos for weeks and weeks. The only real indicator is the build status, and even that is often behind. I went from Red 10 to 70 in the blink of an eye, it seemed.
Congrats!!! Make sure you drive it 100% in auto mode. Until then, you won't know what you're missing!
It doesn't seem that long ago that you were offered to some consternation a Pista allocation. And there it is. Thanks for sharing your build spec and picture, I like your Ferrari with those gold wheels to!
hahaha, ...and just in case anybody thinks we're both insane, just to be clear, we say this in jest. Again, congratulations enjoy and drive in good health!
What is insane is that there are some that actually believe that "clicking through the paddles" is a waste.
I apologize dear sir - you are absolutely correct. Paddles? Aren't those only for row boats? they don't belong in cars
It's probably the ol' Rosa Corsa thing that made mine so quick; they just pulled a random one off the line and slapped some gold wheels on it. As we say about arriving babies, your grief will be swallowed up by joy upon its eventual appearance. Having said that, I feel your pain. January is a long, long time ago...
Where the heck do you read that built status nr 60 or 40 or 1 million or whatever. @FordGT. Mine will look exactly the same if they do everything right, besides the rims and the onstar bubble.
