If I thought I was going to sell the car, I probably wouldn't do it.

Since the car can be converted to a factory configuration, though, I would imagine the value for some would fall between an F1 and a native gated. For others, they wouldn't touch the car with a 10 foot pole.

As I said, though, I am doing it strictly for myself without any consideration for resale.

Some people wouldn't want to touch a converted car but most wouldn't have an issue if documented and done right. I would say a gated car would fall between an F1 and factory stick car as far as values go.

Not sure about more desirable as to me that means sells faster but spiders are definitely pricier than coupes.

yeh i always thought so as well...and when something is more desired it commands a higher price...

fwiw i think 6 speed 360s at 100k and below are SCREAMING deal, awesome awesome beautiful work of art and sound with the right exhaust.

Do it. For every one guy that says "I wouldn't touch it if it's not original" there are 5 guys who will PM you or take you aside privately and say to you "So how much you want for it?".
The reality is you can't buy clutch pedals anymore, there simply aren't ANY anywhere to be had for a conversion. Same for the manual gated housing. I've looked and they're NLA. So if you have the parts, do it. As F1 systems get older they get less and less reliable. I want the parts for conversion so that in the future if I want to.. I can buy an F1 car for cheap and convert it over.

That last reported sale of the 99 is not a bad number! I think it's sort of in the zone of ok for the seller and ok for the buyer. Good to see some movement in the market for any Ferrari though since some just sit forever. To my eye and senses when I am in mine I am starting to get that vintage, awesome feeling and I like what that does to my senses...maybe others are catching on?

88,200 with buyer fee, read all the posts, all that saw this car said so so paint, possible non original seats ( heavy bolster wear as well) wavy dash, visible sticky issues as well, chrome starfish wheels ( non original per sticker), custom aftermarket wheels, BUT still an 11k car. Well bought, just not my kind of spec.

There is a green ( verde zeltwig) spider for 114k , 10K miles, on Autotrader, with a .1% production of that color maybe 2 in the US?
    Interesting FWIW.

    POA, apparently.
I kind of like the uber-red interior, but suspect it may be a bit over the top for some.

360s 6 spds are a screaming buy at half the price - for me the 360s shld be a 6 speed and the 430 in F1.

Swapping the red steering wheel for a black one would make a huge difference.

NOT a 360 but worth watching...
    https://bringatrailer.com/listing/2008-ferrari-599-gtb-6/

I guess the 599 introduced timing chains to the 12 cylinders (i.e. the 430 equivalent)? I wish the 360 had timing chains. It would be the pinnacle!

For a road car, I don't think the slightly reduced performance is worth the extra maintenance...

You got me. I thought, in the spirit of the thread, you were linking a 599GTB gated.... My wife was going to have to hold me back!

But that IS a beautiful car, regardless.

A gated 599 GTB went for big dollars not long ago at Silverstone Auctions UK I think. IT was featured on one of Harry's Garage videos.

    360.....

    Stick....

Great car. Just got my stickies back laser-etched. Did not send the radio buttons yet.

    Love the car.

I only brought it up because:
#1 it is such a beautiful car
#2 Ferrari 360 Modenas don't always do well (i.e. high prices) at BAT
#3 the thread is about Ferrari "market" values
    #4 I did clearly state NOT a 360...

sorry if I offended anyone! I'll still be watching it...
