Rosso Fiorano Portofino collected...

Collected my new Portofino yesterday - Rosso Fiorano with Nero roof and wheels, black leather with Bordeaux stitching and carpets. Wow! I am impressed... I know the stats don’t bear this out but it feels faster than my Tesla X P100D.
I think mine is one of the first PFs in the UK with all the ADAS stuff - which was very useful coming out of London in traffic yesterday. If anyone has any questions on that I will endeavour to answer once I’ve road tested it. I know you’re supposed to drive a Ferrari but I’m afraid I’m a tech geek!

Would appreciate your thoughts on the blind spot assist (I usually refer to it as lane change assist) and ho where does the warning show up ie in the mirrors etc? Btw great looking Portofino

 

Thank you! it shows up in the door mirrors - a small orange triangle. There also seems to be a ‘boop’ if you indicate when someone is there. I’ve not tested what happens if you actually try and change lanes into someone! I found it intuitive and not overly intrusive.

Hmm, I guess so. Apparently it has quite a few MY2020 updates (as I added all the ADAS stuff it was delayed a bit). I haven’t had the opportunity to really wind it up yet, due to traffic, weather and the fact that I assume it will need to be run fairly gently for a few miles. It sounds damn good to me so far though!

I believe you need a post summer shutdown build for the Porto to be GPF. A pre-2019 homologated model is not required to have GPF from factory until M/Y 21. This is also why all Pista cars included those built in 2020 will not have GPF.

 

I keep coming back to this thread to look at the car.... the paint is stunning, I always thought white or mine, California blue, were the optimum colours for me on the car, but this wipes the floor with both for me now... such a deep red, and the wheels and roof blend perfectly. Once again, I’m jealous

 

Awww, thank you! I love the Blu California too. I have a friend who has one in that colour - haven’t seen it in the metal yet but it does look cool on the photo. My daughter would have preferred it in blue, but I’m not letting her make all the decisions!

 

One thing to know is that this color looks very different inside vs outside in the sunlight, which is something I love about it. Here's mine in the bright sunlight, it's much brighter looking:
