It does. I want to slide it along.

Maybe someone will come up with an aftermarket fix for that.

    All the best,
    Andrew.

Problem is, that badge really wouldn't look good anywhere on that grill. Less is more.

I agree that less is more... and we're talking about that on a vehicle with the hood emblazoned with:

    D E F E N D E R

    o_O :D

So... if they are going to put the Land Rover badge on the front of it, at least center the thing so that it looks intentional.

You're correct though, it'd look better with it left off completely. There are likely few people alive who don't know that the Defender is a Land Rover. It's almost its own brand.

    All the best,
    Andrew.

The more I stare at it, the more I realize there's too much going on. There's too many openings, lines, squares, rectangles, tiny holes, big holes, half rectangles, and so on. At initial glance I actually said "eh, doesn't look too bad except for that badge". After looking at it for more than a minute it comes off convoluted, even disorganized.

Saw this car in another thread. The metallic B-pillar is interesting with the little circles. Kind of reminds me of an old erector set beam.

Which brought to mind this Giugiaro car from the ‘60’s.
Certainly not the same, but drill those holes. Image Unavailable, Please Login

While scrounging around for El Camino restoration parts this morning, I came across this valuable nugget of historical automotive design information.

It appears that the 1965 El Camino may have beaten Lexus to the Irregular Concave Hexagon Grill (a.k.a. Spindle Grill) by 49 years! :D
