The old girl turned over 60k miles this morning. My plan, which is probably very expensive and ill-advised, is to run her up and over 100k. Will post updates here along the way...

I'm guessing clutch life is currently around 50%. Brakes are brand new. Big $$ coming up... she really needs a suspension overhaul.

Probably only the ultimate driver's car in the under $500k segment... above that would probably be beaten by CGT, etc.

I personally know of one that is already there. Some repairs but nothing catastrophic.

I'm sitting at 56k, going to put some more $$$ into her soon but as soon as my mind is at peace with the issues that bugged me, it's going to hit 60k with the quickness...

I miss those fall drives in the northeast. 66-67k on mine now. It doesn't change much. They're like any European car. It'll make 100k without missing a beat..

Surprised they couldn't repair the bumper, but I guess if insurance is covering it, get a new one. ;) Sure looks pretty!

What mileage did you own her from?
How has upkeep and repairs been, and what issues have arisen, between the 35-60k range?
What preventive maintenance have you done along the way?

I have 51K on mine and i don't see that as high miles at all.have owned it a year and put 10K miles on it so far .but i'm a Porsche guy, so maybe thats why, with those even 100-120 isn't considered much

Some more info about this car: I think the mileage was at 53k when I brought it almost 5 years ago. I knew I wanted a 360 and of course there are always so many available on the market. But all the cars I looked at had many owners and inconsistent documentation. I ended up choosing the high mileage car for one reason: it had one owner since it was new, and 100% documentation of factory service since new. That's priceless as far as I'm concerned.

As to the cost of ownership... If I remember correctly, adding up all the service history when I brought the car I think it was around $80k at that time. Works out to around $5k/year. But... nearly $30k of that total was in one massive invoice for a new transmission. I've kept up with the dealer service, which I know keeps the $$ up, but I like having that consistent history. I've probably continued with the $5k/yr trend, but some of that is upgrades: CS TCU, Fabspeed headers + cats. And there was an unfortunate incident washing the engine which lead to a misfire and a whole summer in the shop, but let's just pretend that never happened.

All that to say... take away the dealer service cost, upgrades and that new transmission and I would say you could reliably enjoy a 360 for many years on a reasonable budget.
