Peng, yes. The big brake kit works extremely well with the stock rims and DO NOT need spacers.
I have said this in many other threads but the BBK is one of the best mods for the 355.
I have the UUUGE! , 14” stop tech disks (brembo calipers) up front with the 355mm in the back.

Just put the UUUUGE,! , brembo BBK on my silver 550 too.

There are some fantastic racers on this forum who don’t need BBKs even on the track, but for us mortals and a car that gives you the feeling that you are Michael Schumacher until you realize your not and it’s too late, the BBK gives you that extra edge. It makes THE quintessential Ferrari that much more Awesome.

Lowest price I found by a lot compared to other vendors, I thought it was a typo, but they honored the pricing. Not sure if they can be had at the same price.... search the web, there are many venors including some sponsors to Ferrari Chat. Seems that all have the same price.... 4 to 6 week lead time drop shipped direct from Stoptech

doesn't the bigger diameter cause more rotational mass further from the center and make it feel heavier on acceleration? are the 2 piece and calipers lighter than stock?

I have trophy brakes on my BMW, but why would one want to put it on a Ferrari? I feel the Brembo would be a better match, it's like putting Enkei Rims on a Ferrari.

I guess it depends on the meaning of better. The trophy do have more stopping power, but they are notorious for knockback, and probably would have more longer term maintenance issues than the brembos. more frequent rebuild, etc.

Not sure what knockback is but I have had mine for 10 years and have not needed a rebuild or have any maintenance issues at all.

I’m not sure about that. I know the benefits FAR outweigh any offset from any rotational baggage. If the rotational weight is a concern, you could answer that by coupling the BBK upgrade with Challenge wheels. I notice that Challenge wheels are also a great mod due to being lighter but they are sooo damn ugly compared to the OEMs so I never put them on.

My GTS has all of the right performance upgrades and is pushing about as much horse as you can without turbos. I have a TON of extra goodies (for example oversized sway bars, aftermarket headers, capristo phase 3 etc...etc...etc..) that I haven’t put back on the car because I like the setup that’s on it. There are some fantastically modified cars on here but mine looks stock (save the challenge grill), sounds like a pure car sex scene with sienna miller and goes like a ducken banshee.
