A Day of Defeat. Now it's when I'm missing more the lost oportunities.

About the championship, well, not our business.

I am afraid luck has nothing to do with Mercedes domination .
Seriously how much Mercedes spent to build this phenomenal team ?
Very very sad year for a tifoso, we stand no chance against this "uber team".

Total snoozefest waste of time, just like the last race. Should've gone for a bike ride.

Merc domination of 2019 is complete. Congrats to them and to Ham for WDC 6. Quite some achievement.

Now, as for ferrari. This record is definitely getting stale. We had the best car again, but somehow, we managed to come nowhere in the race. Management and strategists need to change or we might as well write off 2020 as well. Embarrassing.

I don't mine Merc winning 1-2 (again) but Ferrari isn't even trying to make it tough for them.

Hopefully they'll eventually get bored and leave like Audi did is WSC/Le Mans, but long before 13 LM wins. I will stop watching F1 entirety long before that, and many millions along with me.

I'm sure the little diva Elton won't quit until he surpasses every last Schui record. And there is no reason to think he won't as long as he has the hands down best car, team, and a butler teammate. I'd love to see Max as his teammate and with favor within the team (no sabotage against Max). Elton would be sweating a lot more.

Merc is by far the best overall car, especially when it comes to tire wear. And you can't even compare teams....

Fastest quali single lap does NOT mean best race car. At some point, you have to change tires.

Funny how elton's title is so insignificant, i mean nobody cared about it...except for his fanboys..j i guess it just shows how his achievement is viewd by the general f.1 public.....

don’t forget those who do not follow F1 as religiously as any of us; all they will know is the statistic and “6-time WDC only bettered by Michael Schumacher” will be what they’ll remember and be sprayin out of their mouths at automotive gatherings just so they come off as knowing anything about F1.

I have the utmost respect and admiration though for Mercedes...they really did a crazy good job in keeping ahead all these years. Huge congrats to them.

I hope we give them a better fight next year.

Agree, but we know how they have done it.not exacly a very "clean" way...when you take the victory from another driver and give it to Elton a gues it shows the real "worth" of mercedes titles. On the other hand, their organization has been impecable, with amazing reliability and year after year great cars, so for sure they arev doing a good job, add a lot of cheating and Marshalls in their pockets and they become invincible.

Mercedes is simply the best team at the moment, just like Ferrari was in the early 2000s, and Williams was in the 90s, and Mclaren before that.

What merit is there for a team to win without a strong opposition ?

What merit has Toyota to win Le Mans every year now, since Porsche and Audi have left ? It couldn't defeat them before !!!

Brackley F1 has led the field since 2014.
It's likely they will continue to do so after 2021.
Mercedes simply pay money to have its logos on British excellence.

Today was a complete disaster, IMO.
All hopes built up after qualifs vanished for Ferrari within a few laps.
Vettel's car broke, and Leclerc was told to "take it easy" to finish.
