It’s mentioned (downplayed) at the end of their written ad on their website. They only show one picture of the damage.

That damage doesn’t look bad at all. That car has a salvage title?

At this price, it seems like a smokin deal for a car you can drive the wheels off.

Yeah I agree, This is a super buy for someone that wants a driver. You could probably load up the miles and not lose a bunch.

Yeah, great deal assuming it was put back together right. I’ve never heard of the shop that they claim rebuilt it, and my google searches don’t reveal much.

Ya, true to a certain degree I guess...something tells me it'll probably be equally tricky, if not more, to unload a salvaged car, especially if non-storied cars already take awhile to find a home, logic tells me any storied ones will take x more time and effort, not less.

I just called my insurance co and they won't insure a salvaged ferrari...wonk wonk will have to find another company that would and not sure what that looks like.

Regardless of what Chris Harris says, the owner of this CS prefers it over the Scud. I would have to agree.

Any other info out there on the Sheehan car? Obviously an inspection would be the only way to know whether it’s a good car, but trying to decide if it’s even worth the effort.

Based on my research, it appears to be owned by a long time Fchat member.

Get your PP In the game. inspect it yourself- u can’t trust a PPI these days IMO. It’s not worth the legal issues to do them. Shrug

There has to be a reason they did not rebuild the title...wanna take a guess why they did not?

Odd that it got a salvage title issued in 2O15.

With salvage its always a cash deal car (no financing) and good luck getting more than liability insurance on your $120k car if you crash it. (Like its previous owners)

Makes more sense spend a bit more to get a non-storied car.

I saw and drove that car years ago in Dallas. A Russian guy owned it.
Some of the parts like radiators are not original.
    Owner said they were "better".
    Who knows ?

I think it’s fair market now. I was one of the high bidders. Same seller noted they sold one with 3k miles for just over 200 recently.

Regarding insurance; are you sure this is true? Even with the specialty/collector car insurance companies that have "agreed upon value"?
