Saw it last night. It was good. Maybe not great, but good. Better than Rush IMO. The battle between the Ford corporate suits and the racers was the most interesting part.

Will definitely go see it. The nostalgia will be great as the late brother of a very close family friend was one of the winning drivers in that famous race. His legacy today is rather impressive. I wonder if there will be any mention that 2 New Zealanders came 1st and another New Zealander and a British driver came 2nd.
Or will it be an all American affair.

That is not how Henry Ford II thought it would be. Car that traveled the furthest was the winner. Qualified further toward the back, so Lemans rules.

Hence the problem with making a racing movie. Who do you choose to please - the masses or the hard-core, detail oriented racing fanatics? I'll give you one guess . . . .

Just got back from our Scottsdale Premier. Better than I expected and they didn't trash on Ferrari despite my expecting it. Movie should really be Ford Versus Shelby IMO. Christian Bale did a great job. As for Matt Damon, I'll reserve comment.

    Saw it tonight in IMAX.

Thought it was great. Seems very factual. Friends of Leo Beebe thought he was portrayed harshly but seems the producers played it pretty straight based on all the documented sources.

I liked the cinematography and most of the acting.

    Ok
    It’s entertainment

I saw it last night in IMAX. This is a movie that demands to seen in IMAX. Overall great movie that even non-racing enthusiasts would enjoy.

Saw it last night two things that is:
    1) Very entertaining, with some decent humor.
    2) Terribly inaccurate movie, with huge amount of Hollywood fantasy. So very much wrong without any justification for it.

Just saw it this afternoon. Its worth going to see just for the cars :) The GT40's look amazing, but the Ferrari P's are just achingly beautiful...

    7.5 out of 10.

Saw it the other night and thought it was great. If anything I felt the opposite of some of the assumptions here; that the movie actually painted Ferrari in a positive light while Ford in a negative one. I loved the dialog from Enzo during his meeting with Ford :)
