If you had a $500k-$800k budget, which modern day car would you expect to hold its value and still give a contemporary driving experience? I'm partial to the Murcielago SV or gated LP640s, but it seems that the next level up is in the $1.5M+ range of hyper cars.

If you were selected by Ford to get one, list is now starting around $550k , with another $30-50k of paint and carbon fiber options available.

i don't get the sense thats what the OP was asking about - sounds to me like he is purchasing in the secondary market.

the op needs to define 'contemporary driving experience'.

since he lists a gated car thereafter, presumably flappy paddles are not a requirement for this experience.

This may seem harsh but in my opinion none of them....modern cars are not going to appreciate in value the way the older ones did. If so it will be a precious few
