It's a good movie for those who don't know what a real Ferrari is. http://race-car-replicas.com/ford-vs-ferrari-project
exactly so; saw it last evening in a special screening arranged by the Saratoga Automobile Museum. Good entertainment though IMHO a bit too much grimacing by Christian Bale as Ken Miles. One has to simply overlook the technical errors.
The subject is not the P3... the subject is about Ken Miles , Shelby and Ford... If you see the movie you will not see much P3/P4...
0802 at Monza for aerodynamic testing of a rear wing. Ginther has just got out of the car and is with Hill. At right Enzo talks to Chiti with Forghieri listening in.
Saw it today. Great entertainment and yes, Bale is over-acting a bit... Also I noticed the errors in the production design reg. the Ferrari Ps. - but even the Titanic movie from Cameron had some very significant mistakes. Heyyyy....its Hollywood! Tinseltown loves action....
Can anyone identify these three photos?* All taken at Watkins in 1980, 81 and 82. They're pretty bad - taken with a Kodak Instamatic! The newspaper clipping is from the Rochester Democrat & Chronicle, around 1980. Bob Z. * I took the photos and I can identify all but the white car. Detail of the rear wing from the photo in post #10900. I think it's #0790 at Monza and after Le Mans 1961. Image Unavailable, Please Login
Not Superfast III but rather 3747/SA... The red four cams must be 0744/MI. The red LMB must be 4713/GT...
And whats funnier, what's a gto doing disguised as a 365 P2 (elefante Bianco) ????!!!! oe should i say, a Datzum disguised as a gto that should have been a 365 p2
VERY GOOD! Although I'm not sure about the white car (I believe it was owned by Mr Sachs and had curved fins), the GTO is indeed #4713, the engine is from the 412 MI and the yellow GTC #10795 is mine. Here are a few more sent to me by my brother Mike. He said two of the red cars were from a movie with Matt Dillon and the red car in the head-on shot is from a movie with Sophia Loren. He had no idea about the three black and white photos. Comments? More info? Hi, Marcel. I just spoke with brother Mike and he said the first two red spiders were from the movie "Flamingo Kid" but he said the one in the showroom may be a Maserati but he wasn't positive. He also stated the the black and white photos might be from a TV sitcom. Bob Z.
The photo shows Paul Petersen from "The Donna Reed Show", photo taken in 1962, episode aired 13 December 1962. 5th photo from same episode.
Sir, I realize this is a very old post...but if you still check in, could you tell me more about this 365 gt 2+2? Was it ever repaired? If so, do you know were it is at? Where was the picture taken? (I am working on putting together a registry of 365 gt 2+2. Thank you. Stefano
